Valentine's Day Couples Paint Party

This blog post is late, but I need to add this. 

Our 1st annual couples paint night for February 15th was a big success!

We had 3 couples come in and paint with us!

However, I had a rocky start with teaching my first ever class. I was late to start and was nowhere near as prepared as I should have been. My verbal instructions were also not the greatest. Leading to some mistakes being had, but with some feedback by the awesome crowd we had, I learned I can step up and appropriately teach painting techniques and teaching how to fix some of the mistakes that were made! 

We also had a very short couples' trivia! We used the trivia halfway through to allow our paint layers to dry.  Between the laughing and sus looks everyone was giving there significant other as they answered questions about each other! I do believe everyone had a great time with their answers to share with one another later. 

I'm very blessed to have the group that I did! Yall were lighthearted, helpful, patient, funny and some of the best people! Thank you for spending the evening with me as we all learned! I'm already looking forward to the next painting/crafting class!
